In 1989 Parand New Town was laid out a location 35 kilometers south of Tehran in order to absorb the expected overflow of population in Southwest Tehran. The comprehensive plan for this town was prepared in 1998 and approved by Iran’s Height Council of Architecture and Urban Development. This town is located in the vicinity of Imam Khomaini International Airport. Currently the Tehran-Parand metro line is under construction. Construction of MAPSA 1100 residential units within Mehr scheme has transformed this town into a huge building site.
Since Phase 2 of Parand New Town has already been completed ; MAPSA initiated industrializing housing project at the southern corner of phase 3 and 5 of the town.representing Ministry of Housing and Urban development to the implementation of the MOU for the construction of 10 thousand industrializing housing units, MAPSA has initiated the construction of 1100 housing units in Parand new town . Based on the said MOU MAPSA has beeen designated as the executor of the housing industrialization plan in Iran .
The 1100 units project and 5400 units project are also an exhibition site where for the first time seven new building technologies are simultaneously employed . Surely, this is the right place for the leading members of the industry to visit and exchange ideas and experiences .
